English @ Work Courses

The English at Work/Skills program is offering two 12 week courses, starting Jan.9, 2012.  These classes are free of charge to immigrants with Permanent Residence or Canadian Citizenship status.  Both of these classes are designed for learners at a CLB level of 5 or higher. 
English in the Workplace: (Tues. & Thurs., 6:00 -9:00 pm)

  • Learn about Canadian Workplace Culture
  • Practice pronunciation clarity for the workplace
  • Expand workplace specific vocabulary and idioms

English for the Potential Health Care Aide: (Mon,Tues, Wed, Thurs, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.)

  • Class focus is on the English language and cultural skills required to attend further training to become a Health Care Aide
